奈良大佛

指日本奈良东大寺金堂之毗卢遮那大佛像。又称东大寺大佛。起铸于天平十九年（747），至天平胜宝元年（749）始成。系现今日本最大之铜像，大佛坐高十四点九公尺，若由台座算起，高约十七公尺。台座上有千瓣莲花，每瓣线刻释迦佛像，呈现莲华藏世界图。大佛虽经数度修缮，仍保存奈良旧观。［东大寺要录卷一、卷三、东大寺造立供养记］
